My healthcare journey began at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego, where I worked as a clinical research coordinator. In this role, I witnessed firsthand the significant challenges patients face when they lack adequate coordination resources. This experience deeply motivated me to address these issues. During the earliest days of founding Rely Health, I dedicated hundreds of hours to working closely with clinical coordinators and other similar roles. I began to see the immense value and critical importance of these positions within the healthcare system. Clinical Coordinators, Navigators, Transitional Care teams, and others in these roles are the unsung heroes of healthcare. They operate on the front lines, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and services to navigate the often complex and overwhelming healthcare system. These roles are the backbone of effective patient care, providing essential services that can significantly improve patient outcomes and experiences. Understanding their importance fueled my passion and commitment to creating solutions that empower these vital roles. At Rely Health, we aim to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of care coordination, ensuring that every patient receives the comprehensive support they need. This drive to solve real-world problems and improve the patient experience is why I chose to focus on growing Rely Health. It’s about making a tangible difference in the lives of patients and supporting the dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to provide exceptional care.
